Training workshop to assist the EECA research organisations to actively participate in EU-funded research in the field of Information Society Technologies (ICT) will be organized by EAST-HORIZON in Cooperation With EECA 2 HORIZON in Tbilisi (Georgia) on 11-12 September 2014 at Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University.
The main purpose is to address the new HORIZON 2020 ICT program of the European Commission. The program of the workshop will cover presentations on the following issues:
- HORIZON 2020 general introduction
- Structure and design of a proposal
- Proposals ideas assessment

The EAST-HORIZON training workshops have the core aim to assist the most promising EECA research organizations to
- acquire the know-how & contacts in order to develop networks with EU research organisations
- explore & develop initial proposal ideas for future IST calls
- become familiar with research developments and trends in the identified thematic areas
