Second Language Education, as the field, already exits in Georgia, the gross and serious works have been held, the NGO s have
been established, which, with support of various donor organizations, implement multitude of the projects. In spite of this fact, for
the purpose of development, improvement and successful functioning of the Second Language Education system , it is
necessary to undertake lots of measures. Namely:
• Systematization of the existent skill and experience;
• Unified management;
• Solution of the issue on the state level;
• Enhancement of the field in the higher state educational and research institutions;
• Integrated cooperation of the central and concrete regional structures;
• Enhancement of the activity of the Educational Science Departments in this regards in the higher educational institutions of
Georgia;
• More integration to the international educational sphere;
• Consideration of the international experience, approved methods and concrete recommendations.
Project tasks:
• Simultaneously with the experience, existent in Georgia, study of the problem s and challenges in the international educational
sphere, processing and inculcation in Georgian reality;
• Holding of the concrete research on the basis of the host university;
• Study, processing and analyses of the modern researches;
• Usage, study and analysis of the international library resources;
• Study of the modern methods, used in the academic course;
• Peculiar observation over academic process;
• Working m etings with the field specialists, exchange of experience and knowledge;
• Exchange of Georgian experience with the host university;
• Holding the presentation on the current situation in Georgia regarding the research topic, introduction of the concrete data;
• Elaboration of joint projects and outline of the future plans.
