The basic aim of the present project is the investigation of singular properties of solutions of some characteristic problems posed for special classes of nonlinear hyperbolic equations. Here are meant blow-up of solutions, a gradient catastrophe, the structure of domains of propagation for cracked solutions, etc.
The case when instead of initial conditions operate the perturbations of another nature is not less important. It is greatly actual to consider the singularities of solutions if they are connected with characteristic perturbations.
